Forbes online debate series highlights IRH’s ‘CycleTel’

In the Forbes article entitled “mPowering Women And Girls,” Dr. Ariel Pablos-Méndez, USAID’s Assistant Administrator for Global Health, discusses how USAID is working to address gender inequalities through innovative solutions in order to end preventable child and maternal deaths and meet UN Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5. USAID is investing in new tools and communication technologies to improve lives, educate, and empower women. This includes innovations like CycleTel, which “…helps women take charge of their reproductive health by enabling them to track their fertility status during each menstrual cycle.”
