Mali Country Report 2006-2007

The overall purpose of the AWARENESS Project’s activities in Mali was to increase the availability and use of quality family planning/reproductive health services. Specifically, IRH aimed to increase the use of modern family planning methods by developing the capacity of the MOH to fully integrate the Standard Days Method (SDM) and the Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM) into the method mix.
