Mauritius– Overview of Country Activities:
In December 2004, the Institute for Reproductive
Health conducted a training of trainers in collaboration
with the Mauritius Family Planning Association
(MFPA). The Institute provided MFPA with training
and supervision tools, and provider and client
materials. MFPA has since been offering the SDM
as part of its method mix in their clinics in
mainland Mauritius and the island of Rodrigues
(also part of Mauritius).
